John Robert Cole, also known as Bob Cole, age 80, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013, in Hemet, CA. He was born in Santa Monica, CA and was the son of Jack and Hazel Cole. Bob was the husband of Dorothy Cole and they were married for 43 years. Bob enjoyed football,sometimes the San Diego Chargers, and Classic Rock n' Roll music. Bob was a happy, loving, and a positive soul; he always listened with intent. He enjoyed being a handyman, especially if it helped his family and friends. Bob was also a proud Elk Member for 50 years, serving as a trustee and organized many dances with Dorothy. Bob and Dorothy also traveled through out the country in their motor home. Bob was the proud owner and caretaker of "The World Famous Log House" which now resides at "Ripley's Believe it or Not" and traveled to many fairs showing the "Log House". Bob is survived by his wife: Dorothy Cole, step son's Daniel J. Doti and Larry J. Doti, son Bryan Mccomb and 3 grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory - Hemet, 1501 West Florida Ave, Hemet, CA . There will be no services at Bob's request.
