John Preston Erbe, born June 29, 1930, passed away on April 5, 2011 in Hemet. John was a loving husband and devoted father. He was an engineer for over forty years. He established his own business in Hemet in the early 90's and ran it until he retired in 2005. At home, John relaxed by working in his garden. He planted and harvested many fruits and vegetables, taking great pride in his delicious tomatoes.
John is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Betty, son Rod Erbe and his wife Cathy, and two grandchildren Jonathan and Stephanie Erbe. Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hemet on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing at 10:00a.m. Graveside services will take place at Riverside National Cemetery on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., staging area #1.
