John Vernon Purdy, 84 of Hemet, California passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Maple Guest Home in Hemet, California. He was born on Saturday, August 29, 1931 in Ogden, Utah to the late Charles and Margie Purdy. John is surviving by four children, Glenn (Glenda) Gibson, Linda Ramey, Karen (Rex) Hooseman, and John (Kathy) Purdy; two sisters, Donna (Jack) Perkins and Judy Grantham; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
John served honorably during the Korean War in the US Air Force from 1951 until 1954.
John was deraly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him. Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
