

While he was stationed in Misawa, Japan he met a beautiful Japanese woman named Taka Kimura and it was love at first sight. They began dating and were married and soon after their only child Joanne was born.
Grandpa served in the military for 21 years and he retired in 1975. He went on to work for Riverside County Jail, Banning Detention Center and California Rehabilitation Center.
He enjoyed fishing. Every chance he had he would take his family out to the lake. He knew all the best fishing spots.
Grandpa was a very friendly man. Everywhere he went he didn't hesitate to speak to someone. He was well loved by many people and everyone called him "Grandpa".
He is survived by his wife, Taka Robinson; daughter, Joanne Robinson-Wilson; grandchildren, Desmond Robinson, Adrian Wilson, Angelina Wilson, Karri Wilson and Kristin Wilson and great-grandchildren, Dezanna Robinson, Desmond Robinson Jr., DeVon Robinson, Adrian Wilson II, Jacob Wilson, Noah Wilson and Josiah Bryant.
Grandpa will always be remembered for his soft heart, beautiful smile and his kindness. He loved to make people laugh and was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it.
Grandpa passed away to be with the Lord on Monday, April 30, 2018. He was a very great man and will truly be missed by many. We love you Grandpa!
