John D. "Jack" Yaeger, 90, of Hemet, CA passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at ManorCare Health Services in Hemet, CA. Born Thursday, June 15, 1922 in Oregon City, Oregon; he was the son of the late John and Golden Yeager.
In his professional career, Jack was a Script Filer for 20th Century Fox. Having worked there for 35 years, he had many unique experiences and great memories. He had been an Extra for a few films and loved his work, but his most fond memory was by far when he was kissed by Marilyn Monroe. He loved watching old movies, old shows, and reruns of NCIS, and greatly looked forward to the annual Academy Awards and Oscars. In his spare time, he also enjoyed reading, especially travel books.
Preceded in passing by his sister, Elgerine Solberg, Jack is survived by his brother, Darwin E. Yeager; nephew, Mike Yeager and Life Partner Earl Mcneese who was Jack's Special Bingo Partner; nephew, Trey and his wife Wendi Yeager; and nephew, Kevin and his wife Sherri Yeager.
Jack will be privately and respectfully laid to rest at Redland Pioneer Cemetery in Oregon City, Oregon.
