Born Wednesday, June 10, 1942, in Rosario, Nicaragua he was the son of the late Jose Brenes and the late Lucilla Dietrich. He was the husband of Teresa Narvaez Dietrich.
Surviving are sons, Jose E. and , Jairo, daughters, Yamilett, Ligia, Johana, brothers, Juan, Enrique, Miguel, Julio and Alfredo, sisters, Estela, Eda, Celia, Auxilio, Socorro and, Aura Lila, 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
By nature Jose was very playful and quite the jokester who loved family gatherings. He enjoyed playing pool and going to the casino. Some of his favorite sports were boxing and baseball, with his favorite team being the Dodgers. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
