Born in the Philippines he came to the United States in 1979 when he was just 8 years old. After serving our county in the United States Army, he met his wife and shortly thereafter they married and have been married for 20 years. He was a member of Cornerstone Church and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. His company did a fund raiser which helped him for the first time ever, go to a home game where they played the Chargers. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife; Christy DeLa Cruz; son, Tony R. Buson, Jr.; daughters, Casey L., Jocelynn J., Taylor S. and Julia J. De La Cruz; parents, Theodore and Erlinda Robbins; brother, Robert De La Cruz; and sisters Crystal and Maria Theresa De La Cruz.
A Memorial Service will be on Thursday, May 9 at 2:00 PM at Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory - Sun City, 26770 Murrieta Road, Sun City, CA. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA. In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the De La Cruz Children's College Fund, at any Bank of America.
