Juan Albezu Valdes

Juan Albezu Valdes, 61 of Hemet, California passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016, at Riverside Community Hospital in Riverside, California . He was born on Thursday, May 12, 1955, and was the son of the late Juan Valdes Fernandez and Bertha Albezu Rodriguez. Juan was well known in the community as the first Ice Cream truck vender in the Hemet and San Jacinto Valley and served the community for over 30 years. He worked very hard in the valley to make it a safer place and he volunteered at the Church Community Altrarde Alabanza. Juan served in many roles at his church and could always be counted on to help on all activities. He liked adventure,, playing pool and cooking his traditional food from Cuba. Juan was known for his music and bbq's parties for family and friends. His family describes him as funny, out going, talkative and giving. The night skies will shine less brightly, save the one twinkling new star that will smile down upon each of us and outshine all the rest. He will be missed by those that knew and loved him.

Surviving is his son, Hector Navarrete his wife Beatriz, daughters, Ana Rodriguez and her husband Oscar, Sonia Penaloza and her husband Eric, and Lucina Garibay; 10 grand children.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Miller-Jones Hemet Mortuary, 1501 W Florida Ave , Hemet, California . A Funeral service will follow at 9:00 PM.
