

Kathleen M. Hebert died at the age of 92 on Oct. 29th to be with her husband, Ernie, and her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born & raised in L.A. and attended Manual Arts High School. She was a veteran of WW2 and proudly served her country for 6 years. She married Ernie Hebert in 1952, while in the Air Force, and were stationed in Las Vegas, Japan and New Mexico. They moved to Hemet in 1962 where she and Ernie were very active members in the community. Kathy worked for U & I Headstart & Daycare Center until 1974. She also volunteered for 11 years as Treasurer on the Board of VIP Tots. She volunteered for 2 years with the Target Reading Program at Fruitvale Elementary and was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered at the hospital well into her 80's. She was also an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church for more than 40 years and played bells in their bell choir. She is survived by her son, James Hebert, her daughter, Denise Sands, 3 grandchildren, Adam, Angela & Dawn and 4 great-grandchildren. All who would like to join in the celebration of her life are welcome on Nov. 12th, 10 a.m. at Miller-Jones Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, her request was that Memorial donations go to VIP TOTS, 41915 Acacia Ave., Hemet, 92544.
