Kirk Lee McMullen, 63 of Hemet, California passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013. He was born September 24, 1950 in Los Angeles County. He was the son of Ms. Ellen Dix and the late Loel McMullen. He and his family moved to Hemet in 1964. Kirk attended Hemet High and graduated in 1968. Kirk was the husband of Debbie Shirley McMullen and they were happily married for 38 years. He was well known in the construction community for more than 35 years. He loved working on his classic car, a 1955 Chevy BelAir. Kirk had a love for music and shared his passion with family and friends. He liked fishing, camping, and the beach and in his later years enjoyed attending church. His family describes him as a caring and loyal person, family oriented and a great sense of humor. Survivors are his wife, Debbie McMullen, Step-son Clayton Cass, Mother, Ellen Dix, sisters, Anita Berroteran ( Ed ), Rhonda Hernandez ( Richard ), Karen Bellis ( Steve ) and Carol Farrell ( Dan ) and 1 Grand daughter Allyssa. Services for Kirk will be private.
