Lance was active in the Boy Scouts and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He enlisted in the Coast Guard and served in Alaska. After his Military service he drove semi and concrete trucks for a living. He has lived in Hemet for fifteen years.
Lance was preceded in death by his father Al, his twin brother Steve, his daughter Jennifer Davis and brother-in-law Steve Smith. He is survived by his mother, Jan Sanderson of Hemet, his sisters, Kendall Fisher (Mike) of Utah and Lori Smith of Menifee, daughters Jessica Veal (Evan) and Crystal Girdner (Barney) of Alaska, and Emily King of Ridgecrest and 9 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Friday January 18th at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Wounded Warriors or the USO.
He was loved and will be sorely missed.
