Larry John Rodriguez, 79 of San Jacinto, California passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017. He was born on Monday, June 13, 1938 in Mesa Grande, California, he was the son of the late Leno and Rita Rodriguez. Larry is survived by his two children, Chris and Valerie; six grandchildren, Charelle, Winter, Leslie, Christopher, Alicia, and Robert; and three great-grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his son, Robert; his former wife, Mary Rose Carrasco; and five siblings, Julius Rodriguez, Leona Luna, Philip Rodriguez, Fernie Glasser and Ray Rodriguez.
Larry was a fun loving, caring man who loved the outdoors and almost any sport. He was very outgoing and never met a person who didn't become a friend. In addition to loving the outdoors and sports, Larry was also an artist. He specialized in making traditional Native American art pieces. However, Larry's true passion was for his family. He loved taking them camping and getting together for holidays and birthdays. He was a proud member of the Mesa Grande Indian Reservation.
