

Laured Boyer, 98 of Hemet, California passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Endless Care Facility in San Jacinto, CA. She was born on December 25, 1918 in Seattle, WA. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Laura (Lepper) Helmer. Laured enjoyed traveling, cooking, sewing and being an active part of many organizations. Foremost was her devotion to her church that she loved so much. She lead Girl Scouts and started the first Brownie Troop in Pico Rivera before moving to Hemet in 1954. She was President of PTA in both Rivera and Hemet and was very active in Hemet Community Builders and her CWF at church. She was the devoted wife of Vernon Boyer for 64 years. He preceded her in death in 2003.
Surviving are her daughters, Carol Wyatt and her husband Bob and Dianne Boyd and her husband Gene, and brother, Ronald Helmer, of Grants Pass, Oregon. Grandchildren are Eric, Brian, Shauna and Steve; Great Grandchildren are Aaron, Ashley, Christy, Johnathan, Abrahm, Samuel, Kevin and Josh, Jake, Jordan, Jared, Callie, Kenzie, and Cassidy. Great-Great Grandchildren are James, Tiffany, Katie and Alex and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Lisa.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00 o'clock at the First Christian Church, 200 E. Acacia. Private services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Christian Church or Manor Hospice at 7365 Carnelian St. suite 129, Rancho Cucamunga, CA. 91730.
