Leland Shepard, age 86, passed away peacefully at home, September 6, 2011. He was born in Rochester, NM, graduated from Pillsbury Military Academy in Owatonna,NM.
Served in the infantry in WWII. He was a 60 year Mason and a member of San Jacinto Lodge #338. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hemet. He enjoyed square and round dancing till recently.
Leland is survived by his wife, Marjorie; son David & wife Rhonda; son Robert and daughter Heather; 4 grandsons & 2 great-granddaughters.
No services are planned at this time. Interment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery.
