Leon E Snyder, age 84, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away, Wednesday, September 23, 2015, in Moreno Valley, California. He was born on Tuesday, October 21, 1930 in Endicott, New York to the late Raymond Snyder and the late Emilia Snyder. He was the loving wife of Hannelore Snyder for over 52 years and who passed away on October 2, 2006. Leon served his country honorably in the Air Force and retired after 27 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed life, especially camping and fishing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed, but forever loved.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Dan Snyder, Connie Shearer and Tina Trimm; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan, Jane and Jean and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hannelore Snyder and son, Michael Snyder.
Arrangements are entrusted to Miller-Jones Moreno Valley Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley, California. Committal service will be at Riverside National Cemetery at 11:31 AM, Monday, October 5, 2015, staging area 8.
