Leonor Torres

Leonor Torres went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at the age of 81, in Hemet, California. She was born on Sunday, February 20, 1938, in Jalisco, Mexico, to the late Enrique Garcia and the late Christina (Meza) Garcia.

Leonor is survived by her loving husband, her best friend, Luis Torres; they were blessed with 51 years of marriage; her caring children, Adolfo Torres, Luis Torres, Domingo Torres, Rigo Torres, Gerardo Torres and Areceli Diaz; 23 amazing grandchildren; 9 adoring great-grandchildren; and 2 wonderful siblings, Efrain Garcia and Christina Garcia

Leonor was a kind hearted, soul whom enjoyed and cherished her family. Gatherings and barbeques at her home were the best. She loved cooking and enjoyed going to the casinos. The slot machines were her favorite. Leonor loved and enjoyed raising her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Miller-Jones Mortuary, in Hemet, located at 1501 W. Florida Avenue, Hemet, California. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, November 15, 2019, at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, located at 780 S. State Street, Hemet, California, 92544. Interment will follow at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery, San Jacinto, CA.
