LeRoy Edward Harris, age 88, of Hemet, California, passed away peacefully at his home in Hemet, California on Sunday, June 1, 2014. He was born on Sunday, April 4, 1926 to Vernon and Mildred Harris in Dorchester, Massachusetts. LeRoy proudly and bravely served our country in the United States Navy for 32 years and retired as a Senior Chief Boatswain's Mate. His duty and service to our country was some of his proudest moments. LeRoy was an avid golfer and spent most of his free time on the golf course. He is preceded in death by his beloved Mildred Harris. LeRoy is survived by his son, Paul (Pam) Harris; his son, Russell Harris; his son, Warren (Kimberly) Harris; and his daughter, Patricia Guensler; grandchildren, Dawn (Dan), Kelly (Peter), Brian (Marge), Lauren (Anthony), Kyle, and Megan; and great grandchildren, Anthony, Gabriel, Brittany, Evan, Alison, Jason, Michael, Elle, Braden, and Ian.
