Lewis Jason James, Jr., (A.K.A Chunkie PB) age 38, of Hemet, California passed away on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018 at Loma Linda VA Hospital in Loma Linda, California. He was born on Friday October 12th, 1979 in Arima, Trinidad & Tobago to Parents: Lewis James Sr., and Euclin Lewis. Lewis Jr., is survived by his beloved wife and son, Tanya and Shamar James, along with his Aunt, Cynthia James, mother-in-law, Gale Richards, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Lewis Jr., served our country honorably in the U.S Marine Corps.
He enjoyed listening to all types of music, love to dance, watched re-runs of Martin over & over, favorite movies Blood Sport & Sister Act, TV shows: HGTV: Flip or Flop, Fixer Upper and MMA fights, hanging out with friends and spending every moment with his wife and son.
A father whose role was well suited for him; nurturing, loving, and protective. A role model that exemplifies a teenage parent. A Husband whose role was more than what it was. Loved his wife with every being in him. His entire existence for the last 20 years was his family. A provider, who ensured that his family never had a need or want for anything. He will be truly missed by many. His everlasting love for his family and friends abided by his comedic jokes, influential advice, and positive energy. He touched and impacted everyone individually, leaving behind memories no one could forget.
A hero was born but now a hero is gone. There are two types of heroes: the one who lived to tell a story and the one who the story was told about. My son Lewis Jason James Jr, was the latter. (LJ Sr.)
The pain you feel when your son dies. Losing my son is not the worst feeling in the world but missing him for the rest of my life is the worst. (EL)
My son in law was an amazing, beautiful, caring and loving husband and father. His love was priceless for his wife, son and his dog Bear. I admired the love you had for my daughter and grandson. Thank you my son in law for being there. Sleep in paradise. (GR)
Out of every 100 couples, 5 stayed together. Jason was a winner, I believe that's what Jason left for us to recognize within. Everyone was created to succeed; fulfill our goals and dreams. It's in our DNA. Jason fought a good fight with determination, resilience, and strength. One of his most successful fights was keeping his family together with joy. He endured to the end with love, family, and friends. (C.J)
