Lillian C Woods, age 85, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away, Thursday, February 26, 2015, in Moreno Valley, California. She was born on Sunday, July 28, 1929 in West Springfield, Massachusetts to the late Anton Welker and the late Caroline Welker. She was the loving wife of Sumner R. Woods, who passed away June 30, 1996. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be forever in the hearts that loved her most.
Those left to mourn her passing, but cherish her memory are her children, Robin Woods, Gary Woods and Daniel Woods; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Edward Welker, Margaret Kuhn, Otto Welker, Carl Welker and Ernest Welker; and a host of other family members and friends.
Arrangements are entrusted to Miller-Jones Moreno Valley Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley, California. Funeral service will be at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 11650 Perris Blvd., Moreno Valley, California, at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 13, 2015. Committal service will follow at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, California.
