Lionel Oscar Castro

Lionel Oscar Castro, age 80, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away, Saturday, March 16, 2019, in Moreno Valley, California. He was born in Tulare, California on July 31, 1938 to the late Joseph and Margaret Castro.

Lionel was the loving husband of Georgadele Castro for over 44 years. Lionel was an independent jeweler and retired after 40 years of dedicated employment. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Those left to cherish his memory are wife of 44 years, Georgadele Castro; children, Patricia Welch, Damon Castro, Jason Castro, Carrie Karlson and Joseph Castro; 19 grandchildren, Kayche Salazar, Chaela Walmsley, Tyler Castro, Dayton Rogers, Kaylee Rogers, Jadon Castro, Aurora Castro, Jordan Castro, Rhyle Castro, Lionel Castro, Donovan Castro, Gavin Duenez, Dane Karlson, Jarrick Castro, Ethan Castro, Connor Castro, Jaxon Castro, Milo Castro and Izabell Castro; 2 great-grandchildren, Aedyn Salazar and Aviana Salazar and a host of other family members and friends.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Miller-Jones Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley, California, where the family will receive friends on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. Committal service to be held at Riverside National Cemetery at 2:30 PM, Monday, March 25, 2019.
