Lloyd Edward Davis, age 87, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2013, at Air Force Village West. He was born in Salina, Kansas, on December 24, 1925. Lloyd enlisted in the U.S. Navy during WWII and served in two different campaigns in the Philippines. After the war he worked for the City of Compton for 28 years before retiring and starting a private land survey business.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara, of 63 years; sons, George, Craig, John; and daughter, Lisa Kowalewski; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Lloyd will be remembered for his strong will and convictions, but also his kind and generous nature.
Services will be held on July 26, 2013, at 10:30 AM, at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area #3.
