Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 18, 2013 at his home in Sun City. He was born on January 31, 1928 in Arnold, Pennsylvania to the late Charles and Ella Lerner.
He served in the Army during WWII and was a teacher for 40 years at Azusa High School in Azusa, California. In his retirement years, he worked for Vons Grocery Store here in Sun City for about 9 years as a courtesy clerk.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mildred Lerner; his children, Cheryl Lawson and David Lerner; his siblings, Charles and John and four grandchildren.
