Maria Elena Ortega

Maria, was born to Francisco Banda and Maria Rodriguez-Oro in Zacatecas, Mexico on Monday August 13, 1945. Registered August 22, 1945.

Survived by husband Guadalupe Ortega and 4 children Michael Ortega, Angelica Larita, Jesse Ortega, Enedina Orosco, 8 grandchildren also 3 living sisters.

Married to her husband of 61 years in November 1962. They migrated to the United States in the 70's to fulfill the American dream. She was a hard worker, primarily as a seamstress which she enjoyed as a hobby as well. She purchased her first home and raised her family in Santa Ana California. Maria retired in San Jacinto California in 2005. She lived out the rest of her years enjoying past time with close friends and her sister Teresa. She also spent much quality time with her grandchildren who she loved very dearly. Maria was a very kind person who was always willing to help a friend in need. She will be missed by many.....
