

Marian passed away peacefully Saturday morning, June 2, 2012 in her home in Murietta, Ca. She was the eldest of two daughters born to Bee and Arthur Ojeda in Guadalajara, Mexico while their father worked there for Standard Oil of California. She graduated from George Washington High School in San Francisco with the class of 1947 and then continued her education at the University of Arizona in Tucson. She was later followed there by a young sailor, Paul Green, whom she had met earlier at a USO dance, after his initial service with the Navy. Marian graduated with a BS in Home Economics Education in 1951.
Marian and Paul were wed in the fall of 1950. She then began her lifelong career as a wife, homemaker and mother to four sons in Tucson, Arizona. There was also a fifth son, Thomas, who died shortly after birth. The family moved to Sherman Oaks, California in 1965.
Marian was a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had a great passion for genealogy and church work. She also enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking and raising her boys. Marian and Paul moved to Murrieta, California in 1994.
Marian is survived by her sister Betty, her husband Paul, her 4 sons Steven, Laurence, Richard, and James. She also is survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A sister, a wife, a mother and a friend forever.
