Marie Amelia Allen

Born in Lastrup, Minnesota on Sunday, August 9, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Casper and Bertha (Saskoske) Thommes. Sister to Andy, Lorraine, Sue, Richard & Rita, Marie lived to be 106 years of age.

Marie moved on her own to California , and worked at Robinsons Department Store as a Buyers Assistant.

The family will receive friends at Miller-Jones Mortuary – Menifee on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM. A church service will be held at Saint Vincent’s Ferrer Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at 12:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 PM at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, California 92518. Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
