Mary Lois Beatty

Mary Lois Sawyer-Beatty, age 92 and resident of Hemet, California, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Riverside University Health Center, Moreno Valley, California. She was born on December 25, 1923 in Repton, Alabama.

As a young woman she worked in the Aerospace Industry for 23 years, raised two children; a son Hayward L. Sawyer and a daughter Mary Diann Sawyer-Garcia. She was married to Horace Lamar Sawyer from 1942 until his passing in 1972 (her childhood sweetheart; rode the school bus together from the first grade on...). She subsequently married Charles H. Beatty of Chicago, Illinois, in 1975 until his passing in 2007. Mary Lois leaves behind her son Hayward L. Sawyer of Ketchum, ID, his fiancé Jeannine Burns of Sun Valley, ID, her daughter, Mary Diann Sawyer-Garcia, and son-in-law Herminio L. Garcia of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a donation be made to Higher Ground Sun Valley (HGSV) in Honor of Mary Lois Sawyer-Beatty (funds dedicated in favor of the Visually Impaired).
