Mary was born on August 13, 1928 in Hemet, CA, where she was also raised and lived all her life, a true Hemet native. She was a nurse in the valley for 30 years and she also ran a dairy with her husband Clarence Trumpy. She was the organizer of the continuing reunion meetings of Hemet High School Class of 1946.
Mary was well known for her knit, crochet, and needle point work. The whole family has hand-knitted Christmas stockings and scarves all made lovingly by Mary. Mary also enjoyed watching Nascar car races, which fine tuned her record keeping skills.
Mary's nurturing spirit, family-oriented persona, and the artistic crafter in her will be missed by all. Mary is survived by: her husband of 65 years, Clarence Trumpy; her children Donna Scott of Temecula, CA, Clifford Trumpy of Hemet, CA, Ginny Coleman of Hemet, CA; her grandchildren Stephanie, Robert, Steven, and Christine; her great-grandchildren Madison, Maicie, Hudson, Dylan, and Rhett; and her siblings Margaret Dickenson of Rialto, CA and John Taschner of Albuquerque, NM.
