Michael was born in Santa Cruz, California on December 1, 1979 to David and Keven McDole, formally of Palm Springs, CA. Michael moved with his family to Hemet, Ca in 1980.
Michael went above and beyond to help his family. He loved helping others. When Michael was young he was an exceptional student. So much so, he was placed in the G.A.T.E. ( Gifted and Talented Education) program in 3rd grade. He remained in that program all through out elementary school. He graduated from Hemet High School in 1998 and a few years later graduated from Mount San Jacinto College with 3 Associate Degrees. One Associates Degree in Business, the other in Computer Science and the last in Audio Technology. Michael loved music and worked in a recording studio for many years after graduating college. He loved his parents so much and spent 16 years helping his father, David McDole, with his successful Custom Painting business. He was his dad's right hand man and could be counted on for any needs his father had. He often greeted his mother standing at the fridge, door open, with a beautiful smile and a warm hug. He was her baby, and the baby of the family. He devoted his life to his family. He was always there with a warm smile and big hug for whomever needed it. He would drop everything and come to their aid at a moments notice. Michael learned to swim at a very young age in his grandparents pool in their backyard. His grandfather, Robert McDole, loved to swim and took great joy in teaching all of his grandchildren how to swim. In his late teens and early 20's Michael could be found hitting the hiking trails with his parents. They spent countless hours out on the trail, in the warm sun, loving life together. He was known as the "peace maker" of the family and often settled sibling rivalries going on among the 3 kids. He was a wonderful, kind, loving, and supportive brother to both his brother, Brent McDole and sister, Erin Witten. His beautiful spirit and tender love for his family was priceless. Towards the end of his life his health took a turn for the worse, but in spite of that, he smiled and loved everyone through it. Anyone who encountered Mikey, loved him and grew fond of him quickly. There was no one out there who could give a better bear hug than him. He was/is cherished beyond measure by everyone in his family and all who knew him.
Michael went out of his way to help anyone he could. He seldom complained and was always a pleasure to be around. He will be greatly missed. Michael is survived by his mother and father David and Keven McDole, brother Brent McDole and his sons David Joshua McDole and Joseph Rogers, and his sister Erin Witten. He touched each one of their lives in an extraordinary and eternal way. Words can not describe the beautiful way in which Michael impacted their lives.
