Michael Patrick McKeown, 61 of Hemet, California passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013, at his home in Hemet, California. Michael was born Sunday, January 20, 1952 in Oakland, California , he was the son of Joseph McKeown and Darlene Jones McKeown. He was the loving husband of Kristine Moe McKeown. He is survived by two children: Zachary McKeown and daughter: Sarah Hinton. Survived by brothers: Timothy McKeown, Dennis McKeown, Kevin McKeown and sister: Christine Larsen and Shannon Garfield. Michael was a proud American who served in the Vietnam War. He was proud to be a Vet. His family would say he was patriotic, smart, loyal and loving man. Mike belonged to the American Legion and was a member of the Vietnam Vets Legacy Club. He loved giving nicknames to friends and family. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and his new Mustang. He will be missed by family and friends.
