He was born Thursday, February 21, 1985 in Fontana, California , he was the son of David Cortez and Hermila Santana Cortez.
Surviving are daughter, Marlene Marie Cortez, brothers, Frank Rodriquez, Davien Cortez and Ezequiel Rodriquez, sister, Carolina Zachary.
A Funeral Mass will be at St Patrick Catholic Church in Moreno Valley on Tuesday Sept 4 at 11:00am. Interment will be in Olivewood Memorial Park, Riverside, CA.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, September 3, 2012, at Miller-Jones Moreno Valley Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley, California .
