Miriam Elizabeth Miller

Miriam Elizabeth Miller, 97 of Hemet, California entered eternal life on Friday, October 26, 2018, at Pacifica Senior Living in Hemet, California. She was born Monday, February 14, 1921 in Trenton, New Jersey, and was the daughter of the late John Cox and Gertrude Jones Cox. She married the love of her life, Robert L. Miller, in 1945 and they shared 39 loving years together. Miriam worked as an office manager for the State of California for over 20 years. She loved traveling, and spent much of her time as a volunteer through the years. Miriam volunteered at Whittier Presbyterian Hospital as well as at Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk. She was an avid reader and started book clubs in Whittier and in Hemet. She was strong and independent and loved adventure but most of all loved her family and spending time with them. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. Miriam is preceded in death by her late husband, Robert Miller, and leaves behind Daughters, Linda Rodgers (Tom), Ann Miller, Nancy Hill (Steve), Brother Fred Cox, Sisters Kathryn Cox and Sally Gervasi, Grandchildren Graham, Carolyn, Marianne, Chris and Greg and nine Great grandchildren.

Interment will be in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA.
