

Myrna Celeste Robinson, 80, of San Jacinto, California passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California . Born Monday, October 27, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William Riley Jones and the late Ella Butler Robinson. Although Myrna worked at the US Post Office in New York for 23 years that was not her passion. She loved to preach. Myrna C Robinson was a Evangelist and preached for over 50 years and was involved in prison ministry and hospital ministry for over 25 years. She was under the leadership of Pastor Lorna Lazousky as an Elder and Mother for Desert Christian Fellowship in Desert Hot Springs, Ca. She has traveled the world attending evangelical conferences. Some conferences she took in all the information and shared her knowledge. Other conferences she was asked to speak and spread the word. Myrna was known by her family to say every morning " Rise and Shine, give God the Glory". She studied the bible on a regular basis and liked to read theological books to further her understanding and education. She did a lot of traveling around the world and was baptized in the river Jordon in Israel.. Her favorite verse was Habakkur 2:14. She will be sorely missed by all her family and those who knew her. Surviving are sons, Wayne (Stacey) Robinson of Bay Shore, NY and Anthony (Maria) Robinson of Richmond hill, NY, daughter, Debra Robinson of San Jacinto, CA, daughter Laura , Patrick) Cervera Bermuda Dunes, CA . She has 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and 19 nieces and 15 nephews. Preceding in death was her husband, Phillip C. Robinson, and her sister, Avis Slayton.
