Nancy Jane Turner, 86 of Hemet, California passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013. Nancy was born Saturday, May 14, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Theodore Johnson and Hazel Stephens Johnson. Surviving are brother, Arthur Johnson, son, David (Maryanne) Turner, and daughter, Barbara (William) Riale, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Nancy loved ballroom dancing and square dancing. Those that knew Nancy would say that she loved God, she was very artistic and a fun loving person. Nancy was a member of the prayer group and caregivers at Hemet United Methodist Church. She was an accomplished Artist specializing in oils and ceramic pottery. Nancy loved to ride in parades in the WWII jeeps that were restored by her late husband of 65 years, Harold, who passed last year. Nancy's favorite things were her family and friends, her art and her church.
