

Paul William Campbell, 74 of Murrieta, California passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2019, at his residence. He was born Wednesday, October 25, 1944 in Van Nuys, California to the late Elmer Campbell and the late Kathleen Pierce. Paul joined the Marine Corps in 1963 where he proudly served our country in the Viet Nam War earning accolades and honorably discharged in 1966. He met the love of his life, Darlene Matuzak in 1983 and it was love at first sight. The two love birds married, February 18, 1984 and shared over thirty-five loving years together raising three children as they enjoyed their time camping at the Kern River and trips to Mexico. He loved working and always stayed busy whether it was working in the yard, fishing or tinkering and organizing his garage. Paul’s kind, generous and funny sense of humor will stay fond in the hearts and memories of those who loved him as he will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his sister, Judy Barnes and leaves behind his loving wife, Darlene Campbell, sons, Michael Campbell (Denise), Jeff Matuzak, Erik Andersen (Megan), brother, Tom Campbell, sisters, Susan Shaffer, Mary Beth Kemp, seven beautiful grandchildren and one adorable great-grandchild.
.Interment will be in at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA. on July 22, 2019 at 10:15 a.m.
