

Paul Martin Pirot, 85, of Hemet, California passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020. He was born Monday, August 27, 1934 in San Jacinto, California, to the late Adolph and Margaret Pirot. Paul graduated from San Jacinto High School then joined the U.S Navy in 1956 where he served in the Pacific Fleet until he was honorably discharged. After his time in the Navy, Paul returned home and resumed working with his father on their 40-acre turkey ranch in Diamond Valley, California until his father passed away in 1979. Paul was a quiet and simple man with many hobbies and talents including working and tinkering with cars, especially his blue Nova, which he cherished. He met his lovely wife Lilia dancing at The Embers and later married her in 1971. Paul lived in the San Jacinto - Hemet Valley all his life and was given the honor to help paint the iconic “S” on the local San Jacinto Mountain while a senior in high school. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Paul will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Adolph Joseph Pirot, his mother, Margaret Telva Cunningham, sisters Frances Heidler, Mary June Palermo and brothers Joseph and Charles Pirot. Paul is survived by his wife, Lilia Pirot, his daughters (and sons-in-law) Alice (Bentley) Brown and Jannet (Calvin) Hendrix, his five grandchildren, James and Ryan Hendrix, Meagan, Jacob, and Madison Brown. A visitation will be held at McWane Family Funeral Home located on 350 N. San Jacinto St Hemet California, 92543 on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 9:00 A.M to 10:00 A.M, then a Graveside to follow at 10:30 A.M at the San Jacinto Valley Cemetery.
