He was born Monday, August 14, 1950 in Los Angeles, California, the son of the late Joseph Vigil and the late Frances Flores Vigil.
He served in the Army in Viet Nam from 1969 until 1972. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of music from the 1940's to the present time. He was a Disc Jockey for 25 years using music to brighten people's lives.
Richard is survived by his ex-wife, Debbie Vigil; 3 sons, Joseph Vigil, Richard Vigil and Ronald Vigil; 2 sisters, Cecilia Pursell and Loretta Vigil and 6 grandchildren.
