Robert "Bob" Black, 86 of Sun City, California passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at his home with his family at his side. He was born on Friday, May 3, 1929 in Chester, Nebraska, he was the son of the late Frank Burr and the late Everelda Smylie Black. He was married to his wife Mary for 39 years.
Bob graduated from Elsinore High in 1947.
He served as a S/Sgt in the Army Air Crop from 1948 until 1952. He worked for Cal Electric & SCE for 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time at his condo on the water in Oceanside, Ca.
Surviving are son, Michael Strong, daughters, Cynthia Moore, Susan Switzer, Janet Araujo and Barbara Boss; 11 grand children; 10 great grand children.
