

He was born Friday, April 18, 1947 in San Bernardino, CA and was the husband of his lovely wife Mildred Miller spanning 46 and a half years.
Robert served as a U.S. Navy Corpsman and was a Veteran of the Vietnam war. He received his Associates of Arts degree from San Bernardino Valley College and he worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 50 years.
Robert loved spending time with his son, grandson and his adopted Collies and Shelties. He was an avid reader and loved travelling abroad, he especially enjoyed his trips to England and Japan.
Robert was a Trekkie, he loved everything involving Star Trek. He also enjoyed gambling, he played a bit of 5/10 slots, and he loved chocolate chip cookies.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred, son, Geoffrey Miller and grandson, Sebastian Lin.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, October 13, 2017, at Miller-Jones Hemet Mortuary, 1501 W Florida Ave, Hemet, CA. Following the visitation, a Funeral service will he held starting at 6:00 PM also at the Miller Jones Hemet Mortuary.
A Memorial ceremony will be held at the Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 9:45 a.m. Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
