

Robert Paul Remington went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2012. Robert has been a resident of Homeland, California since December 1991. He was born to parents Nellie and Cleveland Remington. Robert lived and worked in Frankton, Indiana on the family farm while growing up. He graduated from Frankton Grade School and Frankton High School. Robert went on for 2 years at NYC in New York. Then wanting to serve his country, he joined the Army and was a transport gunner on the Queen Mary and the Mauretania in WWII.
Robert worked in supervision for 38 years with General Motors. He loved fishing, bowling and travel. He was a Free Mason since 1957 at the Frankton Lodge #607. Robert was a member of the Frankton Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Lelia Remington; brother, Raymond Remington of Frankton; daughter-in-laws, Mary Ann Remington and Gay Remington both of Frankton; granddaughter Jo Ann and husband Wesley Russell of Frankton and grandson, Cameron Remington also of Frankton; great-grandsons, Dalton Weismiller, Dillon Russell and Corbin Remington; great-granddaughter, Aussie Remington and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Nellie and Cleveland Remington; wife, Madonna Remington; sons, Robert Lind Remington and James Kent Remington; grandson, Bobby Lee Remington and two brothers, Harold and Gene Remington.
Services will be held at the Frankton Christian Church in Frankton, Indiana.
