Roberta Lenora Harrison, age 88, of Hemet, CA, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at San Jacinto Health Care in Hemet, CA. Mrs. Harrison was born January 9, 1923 in Fall Creek, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Russell Gardner and the late Orvetta Mae Gardner. Roberta was an aircraft welder during WWII. She also served as a member and deaconess in the Worldwide Church of Good fro over 53 years and assisted in over 100 births in her church. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Harrison, son James E. Harrison Jr., and daughter Nancy Leigh Potts. She is survived by her daughter: Patty Lou Guss, Petaluma, CA, one daughter in law Joane Harrison of San Jacinto, CA. nine grand children nineteen great-grand children; four great-great-grand children
Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory San Jacinto , 165 W. 7the Street, San Jacinto, CA. Interment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
