Ronald Brown

Ronald Cordell Brown passed away at the age of 72 on Thursday, September 19, 2019, in Hemet, California. He was born to the late Clarence and the late Virginia (Glover) Brown, on Thursday, January 27, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois.

Ron was very social and loved to be around people. He was the jokester in the family, “the funniest person this side of heaven; now he’s the funniest person in heaven.” Ron loved going to yard sales, cooking with his family and his visits to his favorite donut shop, the Hemet Donut Shop. He liked to visit the local Soboba Casino. He loved dogs so much that he would visit the pound once a month to visit them and spend time with them. He will be missed by all that knew him and loved him.

Ron is survived by his caring daughter, Keisha Calmese; his adoring grandchildren, Zara and Zohe Pitts; his loving companion, Regina Thompson and her daughter, Devin; his wife, Bettie Glaspie Brown and her two children, Tara and Brittany and her grandson, Tory Jefferson; his siblings, Rita Brown, Kimberly Brown, Karen Brown, Paula Ellick, Marlon Brown, Kevin Brown, Darryl Calmese, Verge Grubbs, Maria Brooks, and Phyllis Robinson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Virginia; and his brother, Winfred Wiltz.

A Celebration of Life will be held privately.
