Ronald Louis Powe

Ronald Louis Powe, 70, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, in Riverside, California. He was born on Friday, February 03, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri, to his parents, Robert and Dorothy Powe. In July of 1969, Ronald joined the U.S. Navy and served as an Aviation Fire Control Technician Airman until he was honorably discharged from the military in 1973. He worked in the oil fields in his earlier years and later attended school to become an aviation technical writer. He worked as an engineer in the Aerospace industry for both Rockwell and Boeing, In his spare time, Ron enjoyed woodworking, cabinetry, and remodeling homes. He was quite the entrepreneur. In fact, Ron owned many properties and businesses during his life. Ron had a passion for NASCAR and was a diehard Republican. He was feisty, funny, and a jokester, but he was also a major homebody and enjoyed the peace and quietness of his own home. Ron will be missed by all that knew him. Ron was preceded by his father Robert Powe, his mother Dorothy Powe and his brother John Powe. Ron is survived by his son, Robert L. Powe, his adopted children John, Mark, and Tami, his sister, Sharon and his brother, Mathew. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 10:15AM.
