Roy Vincent, a fine English gentleman, devoted husband, father, grandfather, passed away in the early hours of December 2, 2010.
Roy was born in Stockton-on-Tees, England and moved to the United States in 1980. During WWII, Roy served his country in India. Roy spent 39 years in the building supply industry prior to their relocation to Colorado where they fostered children and managed apartment complexes. Upon retirement, they settled in California, first in BigBearLake, then in Hemet, where they were Mr. & Mrs. Santa.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathleen, daughter Lynda and brother David.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Norma (Rushing). He is survived by 7 children, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Roy also leaves 5 sisters, 3 in England and two in the USA.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 1:00pm. Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet is handling arrangements.
