Russell Lee Stewart

Russell Lee Stewart (Fat Cat), 71 of Hemet, California passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Hemet Global Medical Center in Hemet, California. He was born on Thursday, August 11, 1949, to the late Jural Stewart and the late Kathleen Enochs. Russell was married to the love of his life, Sandra Stewart for 34 years. Russell made his living driving charter buses. He enjoyed traveling to new places and meeting new people. Russell never met a stranger Russell enjoyed watching the classic western movies and war movies. Russell liked to sit in the driveway and, in his words, "Watch the world go by." Russell also enjoyed watching BBQ shows and using recipes to create culinary masterpieces on his homemade grill. Russell will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. Surviving Russell is his wife Sandra Stewart of Hemet, California daughter Shirley Smires of New London, Texas; sons Stacy Stewart of Kilgore, Texas, Nathan Stewart of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Carl Struckmeyer of Williamsville, New York and Doug Struckmeyer of Imperial; California, brother Wayne Enochs Francis, Oklahoma, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on August 28th at 2pm at the Hemet San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce office, 615 N San Jacinto Street, Hemet CA 92543
