Sandy, what a journey we had for a year and a half. You came to me with a mission for health and it turned into so much more. You were a great person with a huge heart and you cared for so many others, you are truly missed. I will never forget the day you told me, Krisha you saved my life, that comment changed my thoughts on the role I play in peoples lives. I will truly miss you Sandy.

Sandy, my best friend, I love you. You meant the world to me. I can't breathe now that your gone I feel so empty. You were a friend to all, how loved you were. Your children and grandchildren meant the world to you I'm sure they know it. How can we go on when our hearts are broken. I miss you more than words can say.

Dear Sheldon, Lisa, Debbie and grandchildren,
My heart is broken and I grief for all of you. Sandy was my best friend and I loved her greatly, she'll always be in my heart. I know how much she cherished her family and can only imagine how you'll miss her. She was a wonderful, generous and loving person. I shall miss her always.

Sheldon, Debbie, Lisa, Charlie, and Sandy's precious grand children: Sandy leaves a legacy with staff here at the BMC...she modelled for us that family always comes first and insisted we try to attend special occasions as they came up, supporting us by seeing if she could arrange the work schedule to accommodate. She was so proud of her own children and grandchildren and she and I frequently shared "Gramma" stories. Sandy also taught us to take care of ourselves in this difficult work that we do, so when the time came for vacations she again did everything she could to ensure we all got the break we needed. I cherish memories of Sandy popping her head into my office to inquire how I was doing...a daily ritual of doing rounds and checking on her staff. The other memory is of the end of long, difficult workdays when she would appear in someone's office and before long the laughter floating down the hallway would draw us all together. Sandy had a special way with people and us in particular. We are so blessed to have known her and to have received this legacy from her...she will live on in our work and our lives.

Thank You for giving me the best gift in the world! Without you, I wouldn't have the most beautiful wife in the world! She misses her mom, and your grandchildren miss their grandma. Mckenzie will continue on with her good grades and perfect attendance in your honor, and Brady will soldier on Friday night marching in his first band program in your honor, and I will continue to love and cherish your daughter as if there is no tomorrow!

Dear Sheldon, Lisa, Debbie and Family Sandy's beautiful heart, joyful smile, and playful spirit will be a lingering memory in the BMC halls. Her love is a legacy that will continue, as seen on the smiling faces of those leaving treatment. I only wish you knew the individual stories of the hundreds of lives she impacted--we should have kept a journal over the years. 

How she loved retelling our shared adventures at the end of a tough day to lift our spirits--we laughed till our sides hurt and we all went home totally re-energized. So know that she will be missed more than words can tell. Thank you for sharing her with us. Love, Bev

Sheldon, Lisa, Debbie, Charlie & Family...you are all in my constant thoughts and prayers. The loss of Sandy has broken all of our hearts...she was such a special treasure...she was such a dear friend to me. I know we are all in such shock, but I must trust that God's profound comfort and our precious memories of Sandy will help our hearts heal in time...just know that you are in my heart.
