

Sandra Lee Bissell passed away on August 25th, 2025 in Hemet, California at the age of 87 years old. Born on November 29th, 1937 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Ted and Irene daSilva. She lived in Hawaii and witnessed as a young child the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
Soon afterwards the family relocated to Riverside, California where she graduated from Poly High School.
Sandra always loved music and playing the piano which she began at a young age. Her piano was very special because her father sacrificed a year without a vehicle to buy it.
On May 24th, 1955 in Las Vegas at the age of 17 she married her one and only love Richard Bissell. This union brought three children who were raised in Corona, California. Sandra worked at AM Lewis in Riverside, California while raising her family. After they grew Richard and Sandra moved to Hemet, California. She got her college degree and went into the Public Schools Administration field with her last position at San Jacinto College before retiring. After retirement Sandra and Dick loved traveling in the various RV'S and making various trips to Hawaii.
She is survived by their three children. Lisa Rae (Wes) Pawlowski in Edgemont, South Dakota, Marla Kay Bissell in Temecula, California and Scott Douglas Bissell (Bonnie) of Ironwood, Michigan. Also 7 grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren, sister-in-law Audrey daSilva in Hawaii.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet, California. The family will be having a private service on Monday, September 15th, 2025. Burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery. Their she will be laid with her love Richard- and they will be TOGETHER FOREVER!
