Sharon Jean Lewis

Sharon Lewis, 73 of San Jacinto, California passed on Friday, June 20, 2014, at Manor Care Hemet, California. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Virgina Solomon. Sharon was very talented with her crochet needle and made all sorts of items. She was always willing to give lessons and taught many in her family how to crochet and knit. Sharon was an excellent artist with pencil and paint. Many of her family members have pictures, ceramics , and portraits that she created for them. Sharon liked to be in the middle of adventure, going to the casinos, horse races, stock car races at the Orange Show, picnics with the family and even shopping. There is an art to shopping and Sharon was an expert. . Going out on the town for dinner was a favorite pass time of Sharon's.. She always dressed very nicely and loved her dinner experiences. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and Daughters' of the American Revolution. Sharon's favorite meals to cook were fried chicken and pork chops. Her family describes her as the matriarch of the family, loving, gentle and always involved. She will be sorely missed by those who knew her and loved her. Surviving are sons, Scott Lewis ( Jody ) , Mike Kirkpatrick ( Crystal ), daughters, Kathy Fierro ( Alfonzo ), Janet Beattie, Kellie Glass ( Joe ) and Erin Bishop ( John ), brother, Donald Wood ( June ), 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren Services will be private.
