Soledad Ramos, age 99, of Hemet Ca, where she lived for over 30 years, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. She was born on July 27th 1912 in Utopia Texas to her late parents Leonardo and Juanita Puente. Soledad and her late husband Luis came to California on vacation in 1949 and decided at that time not to go back. Soledad had a few jobs at one time earning highest sales for Avon selling thousand dollars in two weeks. In 1979 she passed her real estate exam, she worked as a bank teller for 25 years and her final job was with JC Penny's in the catalog department. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, and served on the alter and rosary society. She enjoyed her family and spending time with them especially on holiday and birthdays, she was known for her love of anything with lemons and her lemon meringue pie.
She was preceded in death by her husband Luis Ramos of 61 years, her son Henry Ramos Sr. and her sister Carmen Gill.
She is survived by her son Rudy Ramos her Daughter Mary Louise Arredondo, and seven grandchildren.
