Susan Margaret Hooten

Susan Margaret Hooten, 65 of Wildomar, California Entered Eternal Rest on November 7, 2015, surrounded by her family.

Susan was born on August 8, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Clayton Gallagher and Doris Blackthorn Garro. She was the wife of Robert Hooten.

Susan married her best friend and true love, Robert on April 27, 1968. They have 2 daughters, Cheri and Suzanne, and were married for 47 wonderful years and moved to the Murrieta area in 1988. Susan worked for the Department of Defense as a CPA and she loved her DCAA family.

Susan shared a love for travel with her husband; and she was known for always helping others. She believed that the more you give the more you get! Susan was always the first one to help someone in need. When she was asked, "How do you help so many people". She responded by saying "by touching one at a time". Her strong faith was demonstrated by how she lived.

Surviving are her husband, Robert Lloyd Hooten, daughters, Cherilyn Elaine Hanley and Suzanne-Marie Adelyn Melser, brothers, Bill Gallagher of San Jacinto, CA and Brian Gallagher of Hemet, CA, sisters, Candace Marlo of Bakersfield, CA, Jean Gallagher of Wildomar, CA and Joanne Hill of Boise, ID. 10 Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
