Susan J. Morrone was born on November 14th, 1949 in Whittier California. She went to be with the Lord on October 10th, 2019, peacefully in her sleep. She began her nursing career as a nurse assistant on the OB ward at Beverly Hospital in Montebello, California. She finished her nursing degree and became an RN at 19 years old. She worked in many different hospitals including LA County on the jail ward, in pediatrics at Arcadia Methodist and Oncology at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Although she was very proud to be a nurse and loved doing the work, by far her title she enjoyed most was Grandmother.
Susan is survived by her husband of 32 years, Aldo Morrone; son Aldo Morrone Jr; daughter-in-law Jessica Morrone and grandson Oliver; sisters Marilyn Burns and Sharon Tangen; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and brother and sisters-in-law.
Services are to be held at Bryant Street Baptist Church in Yucaipa on October 19th, at 2:30pm. 13456 Bryant St. Yucaipa, California 92399.
